Glad to help.
I remember when, after many years of unexplained infertility, I finally got a postive pregnancy test. I told my spouse I was a chimera and how cool that was. He had no idea that was a thing, but was likewise amaz by it.
Sadly, it was ectopic and nearly killed me.
The chimerism is somewhat comforting. I like to share that with other women who may likewise be grieving, no matter how long ago their loss.
I eventually had a successful pregnancy with a live birth. I like to think my unborn child is part of why the later pregnancy went so smoothly. Maybe a big broth or big sister was helping me out.
Now, I'm a chimera with my living child as well. That's pretty awesome, I think.
