Does anyone know how to stop nausea caused by anxiety?

I do not suffer on a daily basis, but on occasion when I do I have found that calming the acids produced helps considerably. I am no expert or claim any sure fire fix. Anxiety makes the body burn energy at a much higher rate due to the higher awareness along with the fight or flight. Which for some reason, unknown to me makes us expel the contents of our digestive tracts. With all this happening now our bodies are wanting nutrition to replace what is being burned or flushed. Now comes the acids to tell us we need it. If nothing is put in for the acids to eat it starts on the linings of the digestive tract. The lining is being replaced continuously. Until it gets burned through by the acids. Once burned through it cannot regenerate. Leaving that spot with zero protection. Ulcer. Because of the long term burning feeling in the gut it would be prudent to be examined for that, prior to attempting self-care. Once that is determined you can discuss the best solution for your particular condition. In the meantime you can put a half teaspoon of baking soda into 6 to 8 ounces of water stir vigorously and drink quickly. The baking soda is an acid neutralizer and should stop the burn almost immediately. Long-term use is not recommended. I do not recall the why. But short-term is safe. Hope this helps stop the burn.
