Decorating your body is one thing. Self mutilation is quite another thing. Pics on here usually fall on the mutilation side as far as body mods. Even tattoos are not looked down on here. It's only when they are genuinely awful do they end up here. People in drag and or transgender people on this page are here because they made themselves look awful, not because they are trans or in drag. I have tattoos and still think the ones here are clearly awful. If you want to mod your body to specifically look different you can't get offended for people reacting poorly. You knew that you were going for shock value. People are not ever shocked because they like it. It's because it's weird. The heavily body modded people here likely do it because they like people reacting that way. If you don't you should absolutely find a new hobby.
