Dog behavior is a product of their genes: By analyzing DNA samples from over 200 dog breeds along with nearly 50,000 pet-owner surveys, researchers at the National Institutes of Health have pinpointed many of the genes associated with the behaviors of specific dog breeds.

There it is ... the mandatory virtue-signaling regurgitation of ideologically-driven nonsense.

A reasonably intelligent/discriminating mind is able, if not moronified by ideology, to, generally distinguish between ethnic types, e.g. East Asians vs Africans, or Europeans, or ethnic/'native' Americans or Oceanians/'aborigines' ... and to some degree even more precisely, between Koreans and Japanese, Chinese from Koreans, the Hutus from the Tutsis, etc.

The pretended inability to do distinguish between types, that purposely self-inflicted anthropological retardation, is the result of ideology, not sincere observation, classification ... i.e. science.

The scam is being perpetuated (and has somehow infected 'science') by using that transitions between ethnic types are fuzzy, and not sharply delineated.

It's like saying that colours (red, blue, green, etc.) don't exist .... because you can smoothly transition from one to another.

Science is supposed to try and make people smarter, more able to distinguish between various types of things and being, not stupider and unable to distinguish things from each other.
