I’ll go first. When I was 15 a cop investigating a robbery across the street wondered into our yard somehow and shot my friendly black lab 2 inches away from his heart. He was in our driveway but had gotten out of the fence. He was rightfully barking at a strange man who was pretty much in our back yard. My dog almost died. He did a year later from depression. He wouldn’t eat or do much after his surgery. I was screaming and crying and the cop wouldn’t help me stop the bleeding or load him into the car to get him to the hospital. My boyfriend had come out and started yelling at the cop as well and they threatened to take him to jail. The cop was never reprimanded. This was OKC PD.
