I don't want to do this anymore.

They hit me. Insurance only provides a rental until a settlement is made. Once they declare a total loss you have somewhere between 24 hrs to a few days. My rental car is due back before the settlement check even clears the bank meaning there is no way I can actually buy another vehicle before I am car less. I have been in multiple wrecks in the last few years, but not a single one was my fault. One of them I was walking in a parking lot and the person hit me in the back! Actually, in the 26 years I have been driving I have never been at fault for any accident. And since adult hood (I got a couple speeding tickets as a teen), I only have received one traffic citation for turning left out of a parking lot that I wasn't supposed to turn left out of, but that got thrown out because I had photos that there was no "no left turn" sign there at all. I know you didn't ask all of that, sorry. It just made me start thinking.
