Ok, first draft a team. Draft a team with a goalie that handles the puck well. I like Rinne. Next draft good scoring players like OVI, kane and tarasenko etc. Also get really good faceoff guys like Getzlaf, berg, malhotra depending on the type of category for example Movember allumni. I prefer around the world again because you can have lots of scorers.

Next jump into a game and the score a goal quickly. if you would like score a second goal too. Once you do that win the draw and pass it to a defender and go up the ice past the red line and pass it all the way back to your goalie. Now hold it behind the net or just avoid the computer. The computer player will stop attacking once you find the sweet spot. Let the clock run down. Still takes time but its a garenteed win and goes way faster.

Don't talk about this technique because EA can change it and make the goalie freeze the puck when handling it after so many seconds.
