Duke picked for final four by 62% of ESPN panel

5-0, but some of those wins were very unconvincing. Particularly the 2-point squeakers over the likes of mighty Wisconsin and Penn State (and the 5-point wins over Rutgers and Illinois aren't great, either). Lost 4 of 6 before that, too, all together painting a picture of a Purdue team not quite firing on all cylinders like it was earlier in the year. The guard play in particular has been wildly inconsistent and plain bad at times.

All that said, the path to the Final Four isn't crazy difficult, so I'm a little surprised so few voters picked them to make it. I think a lot of people are eying that 2nd-round matchup against (likely) Memphis as a potential upset, and no one can deny the likely Sweet 16 matchup, Duke, has been playing significantly sharper than Purdue of late.
