Outside of not being a big12 team, is there any real reason why Marquette isn’t a 2 seed while Baylor is?

Idk what kinda crack everyone is smoking. The Big12 quadrant rankings and SOS are inflated, all these teams playing each other in conference play just give them more quadrant opportunities. I think there were only 2 or 3 ranked Big East teams at the beginning of conference play? Baylor might have more, but marquette has a better win percentage in: home, away, neutral, Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 games and marquette beat the ever loving shit out of them earlier this year. I just think there is a tendency to, earlier on, give the benefit of the doubt to big 5 conference teams (Big East disrespect) which sets them up well for conference play for this exact debate. They had 21 Q1 opportunities and marquette had 12 because of their tendencies to inflate Big 12 wins and deflate Big East wins.

You can't all be defending this bogus system. Fine if it benefits your P5 conference team but it's bogus.
