Dunkey Legends

I can't really blame him. Games are absolutely my biggest hobby and in terms of the big multi million dollar development games, an insane amount of them are over the shoulder shooters with a semi open sandbox where you fight against an oppressive regime in a post apocalyptic world. These don't feel like games anyone dreamed to make.

I understand why it happens from a capitalist point of view, it's a safe bet, you want a safe return on a big investment, but it is exhausting to see all of these highly similar games be made and heavily promoted. I don't mind their existence, but I start to when they come from a company like Sony, Activision, EA, or Ubisoft who continually puts them out rather than trying to explore different genres and have a diverse portfolio of games.
