During step 1, when you want to get up for your break, do you just get up and go out the door and tell them you’re taking your break? Or do you raise your hand and wait for them to gesture you to come out, and then tell them you want your break?

I ask because I took the free 120 yesterday at the prometric

They told me to raise my laminated paper and wave it as I stare at them until they notice me and gesture me to come out. Keep in mind they’re a bit understaffed and overly crowded.

One of the breaks, I felt they were taking too long and I had limited time, so I got up and went to the door. She made me go back to my seat, sit back down, wave until she noticed me and gestured me out. This was all at the expense of my break. Coming back to the test is a whole other hurdle.

I’m registered to take my exam at this center so I’m wondering if I should take the break every two blocks.
