well we cant declare which religion or culture is conservative. thats a whole another debate.i stand by my statement.so major religions in the south asia are islam, hinduism and sikhs. none of these religions allow premarital relationships. in islam booze is also prohibited. now u do know that majority of south asian and arab populations follow their faiths unlike in the west. yes there are atheists or less religious people but the number isnt high yet and they are limited nto big cities only. India's rural population is like 68 % and they are conservative. just because a metropolitan area resident has a somewhat ''modern'' lifestyle doesnt change facts about the majority. the only reason people leave their families and move to the US and the UK and any other western country is to get a quality lifestyle and u somehow ignore the very fact. this proves that the lifestyle in these countries is very much not the same as in the west.
