Dyche on Sanchez: "Take Daniel Radcliffe. Starts off with the first film, gets 150 grand. Then the fourth film, he's getting 35 million. No one comes along and says, 'No, no, no, give him 150,000, that's what he got for the first film.' So why should it be different for sportsmen?”

They are not out of your hands at all, you need to understand this. How taxes are spent by governments and where money goes (ie into football, or air conditioners) is absolutely in our hands. You do decide who gets paid. Ok, as an individual you are miniscule, but in the millions we create this industry and we vote for governments' tax proposals. It's very important to understand your power. Your country Canada is a leader in this type of freedom of choice, where the people decide what to do or buy. You are proposing something more like socialism, which I'm not totally against, where the government essentially decides 100% what we should pay people, based on their/our ideas of what is 'right', rather than value created. It didn't work too well, maybe it could. In the current system though, we should pay the value creators, not the CEOs.
