Economy class in the 1960's

No, people have legitimate reasons to complain about air travel today. Like so many people your age, I feel you make comments like this because you don't have the perspective to make a comparison of how flying coach used to be, even 20 years ago.

When you're reached this point where checking a bag costs money and every single thing (aside from perhaps a soda) costs additional money, the seats get smaller to cram more people in, the legroom gets smaller, there are no conveniences included….

Yeah, it's just laughable at how customers used to be treated vs how they're treated now. From, "We're glad you chose to fly the friendly skys, here is a pillow, a blanket and some earplugs' to, 'get the fuck in and sit the fuck down.'

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if people hadn't blown up like fucking cows in America but when you have one of the fattest nations in the world and they keep getting fatter and they want to fly and the seats are smaller than they've ever been…there is going to be a serious problem.

And it's laughable to me that America is in it's pathetic, 'BUT WE COULD BE GOING GREYHOUND SO WE SHOULD JUST BE GRATEFUL ##GRATEFUL #BLESSED #GODISGREAT #LIFEISGREAT' bullshit.

Yes, if you live in America and you're not a Rwandan refugee who is dying of dehydration or starvation then you should just be grateful. Nevermind that your boss is paying you slave wages for your hard work and time, never mind that you get no health benefits that were standard for so long in America…never mind that the U.S. is one of the most unequal nations in the world…JUST BE GRATEFUL AND REALIZE YOU'RE BLESSED.'

Right?

What used to be the greatest nation in the world that set the standards for living and morals and ethics and equality by having the largest, most affluent middle class in the whole world is now a bunch of cunts who sit around saying, 'Well, at least we're not like those little children in Africa with flies all over their faces. WE ARE SO BLESSED.'

You're not blessed, you're just dumb enough to lower your standards a laughable, offense level that generations of America BEFORE US were smart enough to stand up and make things better for everyone who was willing to work hard.
