Endless Legend - #2 - Sjin's Flappy Thing

So i have myself clocked a fare few hours on Endless legend and i have to say this looks like an interesting game for the Civ guys to be playing. I'm gonna give a run down of what i see currently going on in the game but don't want to take over u/brettor grading system cause the guys knows his format. Well open for discussion and questions and hope you Yogs guys like Endless legend as much as Civ.

General notes about the game and what the guys knowledge of the game so far fares: - Yes, there is always at least 1 - 3 minor fraction villages in each region, the number of a fraction in region can be a good argument for settling, as on pacification you get the free pop to work the FIDS (Food,Idustry,Dust,Science) - Empire plans are really good to have a focus on and to adapt your game around them, focus on what is going to be happening not what you need quickly, will be interesting to see how the guys play with this. - Unhappiness is decreased by 10% every expansion, however as Lewis said, building 4 burrows around city or a level 1 burrow, this gives 40% happiness, meaning it negates the three previous burrows. Of course this does mean that you loose 1 food per burrow tile, wont be much of an issue for Sjin. - Customizing units is incredibly important. Glass Steel, Titanium and future resources which are found by advancing in eras will produce new Armour and weapons.

Lewis has a good starting spot and good grasp of the game and has quickly taken advantage of the mages special pillar ability. This increases all workable tiles in his city influence by +2. Great early game and hopefully Lewis will spend time teching into these pillars to gain there advantages.

Duncan, Duncan is slowly fighting back the roaming packs and not really taking much time to explore, the middle ground between him, Pyrion and Lewis, forest tiles and match well with Duncans UA (unique ability) are good and with the whole area surrounded in forest and resources such as glass steel that he doesn't have in his region that he'll require for buildings in the next era, it would be very beneficial for him to take advantage of it.

Pryion. We don't seem to be seeing or hearing a lot fro Pryion, he appears to be keeping his cards to his chest and not reveling a lot about his game plan, from what i can tell he appears to know the game well and will definitely be the man to watch through this series.

Sjin, please for the love of god put some of your guys in production. The base tiles of Sjins city are currently only giving him 2 production per turn, meaning things like the dust dredger are taking up to 19 turns to build, almost the full duration of 2 empire plans. I know Sjin has a grasp that Broken lords are all about dust but if he continues to neglect production he will fall dramatically behind the others. Only thing lucky for Sjin is that he is regions away from the other guys and might be left alone till late game.
