Though I hate children ( bordering on viewing anybody under the age of 16 as property, as the state does. FUCK I hate kids.) So don't see it as me taking the guys side.

But modern dating has become a fucking nightmare, just as much for men as women. To the pount that I view it as the objective being to get somebody invested in you before showing ANY faults. Once its harder to detach, that is when you open up and show your flaws/defects. The whole, sunken time fallacy.

For instance, I have (sometimes severe) depression/anxiety, and I got a vasectomy some years back, purely so I couldn't accidentally make a worthless parasite thst would ruin my life. I dont bring any of this up till I have some sunken time invested in me, which has gained me the benefit of a relationship that lasted for quite a while afterwords. If they had been informed at the start, I am confident it would have killed the relationship.

So. Toxicity has created an environment where we need to hide our defects to get what we need.
