Is ESO on the rise? Finally??

What you said about WoW is true but I wonder what will happen with WoW in 2-3 years.

Ya see with Classic coming out in late August this year, if it is successful, the Devs of the maingame may start "re-classicifying" modern WoW. They may bring back enough elements or design philosophy or gain whole new perspectives that reverse WoW's decline.

I really think they're going to be surprised when they see that "Wow! People having been playing this spec on private servers for decades and they still love it. Maybe we shouldn't keep redesigning classes every 2 years??"

Right now every 2-3 years a WoW spec is changed so much that a lot of people abandon the class entirely. Not towntion they change systems in the gear too often.

Remember the switch from Veteran Levels to the CP system? Well we've got retards (Asmongold) on YouTube "popularizing" the game but also saying the CP constellations are "too complex"). So imagine if they changed it because of that complaint becoming popular. That's the kind of thing that happens with WoW every 2-3 years.

If ESO just said "no more constellations" and removed the CP trees entirely that's exactly what Blizzard would do.

If ESO removed flappy wings from DK entirely and replaced it with a spammable that's what Blizzard would do.

If ESO removed the Health/Stamina/Magicka system and gave us boring stats like every other MMORPG that's what Blizzard would do.

But the folks at ZOS mostly don't fuck with a good thing too much. And if Blizzard ever learns that instead of fucking with things because 10% of the players don't like them, or to stop redesigning class feature mechanics, or to stop removing skills because they're too lazy or stupid to balance them, then WoW might catch up.

Ah who am I kidding they'll just fuck it up all over again...
