I've given up binging entirely and I impose a bit of "cool down" time that helps me "settle" the show i watch. So I watch all the opening and closing credits in their entirety and (as much as a i can) i don't stop/pause once i start an ep. The only thing I don't watch is the "coming next weeK' preview scenes; i want to just experience them.

When an ep ends, I take a break, maybe play some Hollow Knight or do some dishes or w/e. and then if i decide to sit down and watch some more tv (like on the weekends), i prefer to watch a different show instead of the one I just finished.

So for me, the on air eps work perfectly.

I've also stopped reading the discussions for the eps. I think it was Alchemy of Souls that did it to me; there was just too much nit picking and complaining about the same things incessantly so that it was not a pleasant experience. once i broke that habit, i didn't have an interest in going back on shows like Crash Course in Romance.
