/u/ambival3nt I am sure that you are well aware of what would happen if I walked around the Poutine hood (I'm talking the most hardcore ones with the Poutine street warriors) with this "American Style" Poutine.

The Canadian Government would dispatch the JTF2 to take me out ASAP before any innocent Canadian citizens lays their eye on that blasphemy and I would just disappear from the face of the planet. That's the best case scenario.

I know that won't happen though because I know deep down in your Canadian soul, you don't have it in you to betray your Poutine like that by making it "American". Even if you tried, it would end up being Canadian because Canadians are awesome and awesome people make awesome things and "America Style" Poutine is not awesome because that just sounds wrong and not awesome.
