The fact that I can now enter the US Navy to pursue my dreams of becoming a naval pilot, but I'm also nervous becauseI don't pass and I might still get thrown out because of living in a really conservative state, yayyyy

It’s hard to say.

Passing isn’t the issue so much as entering service before / during a transition.

Trans veterans are typically seen as coming out while already in, which precludes them from being medically disqualified because they have already been shown to be qualified.

This is really not my place to speak. Just wishing you the best of luck with it.

Maybe call the recruiter first and just ask if someone in your situation would be medically disqualified.

Don’t start the paperwork, and don’t give them your full name or SSN without knowing or it may present you from ever entering (as a medical disqualification may follow you).
