Fellow Star Wars fans, what do you think of Rogue one?

Solo felt very old school EU, Rogue One felt very Disney. I personally don't get how people didn't enjoy Solo, but I think it has a little to do with how much geek culture has changed over the past two decades - it's just become more popular and mainstream, so geek culture isn't driven by freaky little nerds locked away in their bedroom reading Star Wars technical diagrams of space ships that were only on screen for half a second during the Holiday Special.

So that kind of, "Hey kids, look, it's Han's lucky dice!" fanservice just doesn't get the kids riled up the way it used to. Which is fine. I admit it makes me a little sad for how things have changed, but…they changed and I'm out of touch.

Rogue One will always be Wedge Antilles or Corran Horn to me, but that's not what Star Wars is anymore.
