Do I file for unemployment or underemployment.

I don't quite understand the denial with the 5x weekly benefit amount that you mentioned would haunt me, is a denial different from just being found unqualified to receive UI? Wouldn't I just have to wait 1 year before applying again or did I HAVE to complete all of this info to find out for sure if theirs any chance of benefits or else I receive a punishment of some sort? I'm thinking if on call is "suitable" in my position then I should try to make things right as my best chance for partial UI but I'm unsure if I would qualify for partial if I try to to make things right. If I can provide any more info that would assist you, please let me know. Part of me really wants to put this behind me but if I can qualify for partial UI I would also want to make an attempt, however if that's not an option I would love to be able to cancel this application and not have to respond to the mountain of letters from EDD sitting on my desk giving me anxiety and if my old employer won't take me back then I can find a job that would suite my interests more and put this all behind me.

Could you please elaborate on the following, what are the plus and minus of canceling it? As well as the plus and minus for finishing and or "ignoring" it which I won't do if it will "haunt" me. ( There's a possibility you can just cancel the claim, but because I don't have a thorough grasp on what's going on with you, I'm afraid to tell you to do that because everything has a plus and minus. )
