Tough advice: try to find a hobby apart from anime. Pick up guitar, hiking, writing, etc. Life is far more enjoyable when your interests consist of doing something instead of watching. Also, working, volunteering, and internships are all great opportunities to grow your network with people who share your professional interests.

And the whole "getting a girlfriend" thing... sometimes there's just not a lot to do on that front. I can guarantee you that not everyone who has a girlfriend is happy. It's not a race. It's not about going for the first girl you see based on their looks. When you meet the right person - someone who shares your passions, has a great personality, and perhaps looks like your type - you'll know it. So cast a wide net. Consider using dating apps, or just meeting more people outside of your current friend group.
