Follow up from yesterday’s post

Alright so here's the truth.

I've been shot at. It's not fun. You don't really think properly. Your adrenaline goes crazy. If someone ever breaks into your house, you're going to be terrified. You're going to be shaking, sweating, tunnel vision. You're going to see a threat and you're going to pull the trigger (hopefully you don't freeze).

Now, with how nervous you are, you may not hit shit the first few rounds. You're going to panic. You see stories all the time of police shootings where the cops fire 75 rounds at a guy who's shooting back at them, and the cops hit NOTHING. Do you want to trust your life to 7 rounds from a small snappy 9mm? or 30 rounds of "get the fuck out of my house"?

There's a reason police and military don't clear houses with handguns, they clear houses with rifles. With proper technique it's not that hard to clear a house with an AR, and it's really NOT hard to control. You should go rent an AR at a range. Yes, it's loud. Yes, it's scary at first, but it's the absolute best choice for home defense no matter what some dipshit employee tells you to make a sale.
