For the Google search certified doctors on Facebook

How did you diagnose gestational diabetes ? That’s a diagnosis made by a series of blood glucose levels at certain time intervals, did you do those at home? Celiac disease is commonly diagnosed by biopsies or by scoping, im sure you did that at home too. As someone who’s regularly on the other side of these stories of a “patient showing up their doctor,” its hugely exaggerated. You might’ve guessed right, that totally happens. But because of inaccuracies and how you embellished your story, I think there’s more to this story.

Normally wouldn’t respond to junk like this, but I’ll have 15 years of school when I’m finally practicing. 4 undergrad in biochem, 1 masters in public health, 4 med school, 4 years residency and 2 years of fellowship. During which I work 80 weeks and still study in the evening. Dont appreciate the insinuation that myself and my peers are lazy.

Medicine is more than fucking googling. There’s a reason doctors have decades of school and training. You wouldn’t have any idea how to handle all the different patient presentations you see. I can’t believe this crap got upvoted.
