The Force Awakens - Kylo Ren is a Red Herring - He's actually the male Protagonist we're looking for

Okay so after looking through some story theories on here I started to link together some of the dots that these OPs were unintentionally creating. I'll try and explain this as best I can from what is in my head, there may be holes so I apologise but I'll try and fill them out as much as possible.

So far we've established Rey and Finn as the two main protagonists and Kylo Ren as the antagonist, leading the 'First Order' along with Snoke and Captain Phasma. But I believe Kylo Ren is the bigger focus here.

After the events of Return Of The Jedi, just like the theories say, Luke goes into hiding out of fear of his power and becoming like his father. At this point, no one REALLY knows what happened on the death star except him. Stories begin to circulate the galaxy of how the Emperor and Darth Vader fell to a new Jedi (Do they even know if the emperor is dead? No one ever really saw him in the original trilogy anyway). This breeds empirical 'radicals' that follow the emperor's original plan (almost like a religion), whether that's for their own agenda or not (Phasma, Stoke).

Enter Kylo Ren, a young, influenceable force sensitive that is brought up in a strong empirical environment that worship and look up to the emperor for some kind of purpose or guidance. He hears tails of him and the famous Darth Vader (much like Obi-Wan tells Luke about the legend of the Jedi Knights) and, without a strong father presence (Is his Father in the First Order and is never around?) he looks up to Vader as a father figure. He realises he is different from the other children, he can do things and sense things they can't. So, after growing into a naive, influenced teenager, he runs away from home, looking for purpose, artifacts, not knowing they are Sith in nature. He becomes a Vader 'fanboy' so to speak. Over time he crudely builds a lightsaber, the kind he feels Darth Vader would have fashioned (knight like, cross guard, heroic) and finally finds his helmet. He then fashions his outfit to be similar to that of Darth Vader's. Still naive, but undoubtedly powerful, he uses his skills to gain command of a part of the First Order of this 'New Empire' and is sent to take out any rebel or 'new republic' forces. All the while, Finn and Rey's story is unfolding.

At this point, I'm not sure what the story with Finn and Rey is. But I'm sure it has something to do with finding Luke to either A. Be trained or B. Get him to help and prove their intentions by bringing him his old lightsaber, provided by Leia. (How they found it, we don't know) Eventually, Rey and Finn run into Kylo Renn. A confrontation occurs between them, Han Solo, Chewbacca, some other rebels and Storm Troopers commanded to kill by Kylo. Kylo kills a few rebels and flees but he's noticeably clumsy, something commented on by Han at the end of the confrontation. 'He's not too bright for an all powerful general'. Im not sure what other events may play out, so I'll skip to the part I feel will 'make' the film.

Luke is finally brought into the fold in a final battle or 'act' (Again, I can't flesh this out entirely). Rey, freshly trained by Luke, chases down Kylo after he flees once again from battle. A classic saber dual plays out but both are clumsy, the dual is more of a 'scrap' than anything else. Kylo gains the upper hand, Rey is in trouble when finally, we get what we've been waiting for. Luke appears, draws his saber and stares Kylo down. A dialogue is opened between the two. Luke comments on how powerful Kylo COULD be, how he needs to be trained. At this point, Kylo feels he is already powerful, already trained well by HIMSELF and doesn't need anyone but the guidance of Vader's 'Legacy'. Luke realises now why this kid has turned to what he doesn't know is the dark side. But Kylo doesn't listen, draws his saber and the big 'fight' of the movie ensues. Luke out-skills, out classes and overall outmatches Kylo Ren by a mile. Kylo doesn't stand a chance. Kylo gets tired. This is Luke's chance to tell him everything. The truth about the empire, the truth about Darth Vader and what happened on the death star and that everything he knows is basically a lie.

Kylo surrenders and asks Luke to teach him. Han, Chewy and Leia enter after the battle outside to find a weeping Kylo Ren in Luke's arms. But, a ship enters and out of it comes Stoke. (We don't know if he is a sith or not) we learn of a bigger plan right before he kills off one of the old cast, leading us in to Episode VII with Finn, Rey and a new Jedi, Kylo as the main protagonists.

This is a very loose theory that I could flesh out more but this post could go on forever at that rate. i just feel it makes a lot of the current theories work without them interfering with each other. I also feel the character arks would be amazing for this.

Luke learns that he'll never be like his father and will even be able to fulfil the role his father never got to have with him, Kylo would be SUCH an interesting character too. It's all within the Star Wars tradition (twists, family ties, character growth) while still being unique and it's own thing. Like I said, a little crude but it's along the lines of what I would want to see.
