(Spider-man: No way home) The key to the whole movie, Spider-man’s future, and foreshadowing for Dr. Strange's role in the Multiverse of Madness is hidden in one small scene nobody is talking about.

I agree that Aunt May needed to die in order to finally make Peter into Spider-Man. The walking a fine line between being a HS kid and a hero tbh has been annoying to me as a fan. I don’t care for HS aged Peter at all. When he’s in The Avengers and doing his duty I get it and like him but overall I have never been a huge Spider-Man fan I love Tobey’s campy trilogy and tbh he was my favorite part of NWH. However Ned is like utterly annoying and MJ isn’t interesting to me. Altogether the kid trio thing is childish when I’ve been patiently waiting for Deadpool to crash into the MCU and finally get some R rated films.

With that said. It’s really clever how they tied the prior Spider-Man live actions into MCU canon. Albeit different timelines it’s still a wild ride to have them come together neatly. Tom’s Peter needs to be aged up in a hurry to get with the rest of the flow of things. Hopefully being out of HS and thankfully not heading off to college but staying in NYC on his own will force him out of his childish side.

I don’t know how it’s possible for a 25 year old to look 16 but he really looked incredibly young compared to Andre and Tobey. To the point that the ending gave me hope that his storyline will get on board with the street level stuff I hope comes into play.

All the Peters need a death to trigger their heroism. I completely agree with you on that. What happened for our Peter is that Tobey or Spider-Man 2 lol was there to stop him from going down a dark path. What an emotional moment without a single word between them. It really solidified Peter as accepting his fate. He’s Spider-Man. Not Peter Parker.
