I've been on disposable coils for close to a year (I know. First RDA just arrived today and I'm committed to building my own now!) and I became a tank buying fool. I own the Arctic, Freemax Starre, Smok VCT Pro, Matrix, Zephyrus, Delta 2, Uwell Crown, Triton, Project Sub-Ohm SauceCode and the Smok TFV4. The TFV4 blows them all out of the water. The quad coil produces the best flavor, clouds and has the best airflow. It's not even close. It has the RBA option so if he chooses to build later he can.

That being said, coils are expensive. I see 20+ bucks online. It's also big and it might not be the best on the go tank because it apparently leaks when on it's side for a while. I had mine on its side for about an hour and had some minimal leaking. I store it upright and it my at home tank. It might not be his bag but it's incredible. Needs to be said.

If that's not for him then the Uwell Crown is next best, followed close behind by the Arctic. Crown coils are on ebay for 15 bucks or so for a 4 pack. Not cheap. However they are stainless steel. Flavor is superb. They also seem to gunk up at a slower pace. Very well made. Nice Design. Top fill is lovely. RBA is available for him. The Arctic is also great. 1st tank I fell in love with. Coil prices seem to be dropping. I got some 5 packs for 12 bucks recently. No RBA I'm aware of and it holds a pathetic amount of juice.

If I had to do it all over again knowing what I know now I'd get a TFV4 for home and a Crown for the road. I'd be happy with an Arctic. If he wants the best possible experience with pre built he should look at the TFV4. I know some people disagree but I'm in love.
