FWD: FWD: Remember the good old days? Paul Harvey made this amazing prediction 50 years ago!

My Dad has been pretty good at not bringing up politics for the passed few months because he realizes that it hurts our relationship more than hurts it. That is until today.

The text of this Forward reads:

Call It Old School Values - But I Remember A Better Time."

This was 50 years ago. April 3, 1965. An amazing prediction. Can you remember the famous ABC radio commentator Paul Harvey? Millions of Americans listened to his programs which were broadcast over 1,200 radio stations nationwide.

When you listen to this, remember... the commentary was broadcast 50 years ago. It's short... less than three minutes. You will be amazed.

I was a bit skeptical so I gave it a listen, because I used to like Paul Harvey's little blurbs when I was younger. Well I ended up shaking my head and laughing whilst listening.

I sat for a minute debating whether or not I should reply. Ah, hell why not.

So here's what I responded with:

Yeah? Well, you're wrong. http://i.imgur.com/FjpZ5x9.jpg

Will he read any of it and change his mind? Nah, thinking "the world is falling apart and kids these days are worthless" sounds a whole lot better and makes him feel superior.

Happy Father's Day!
