Gary Neville: "When Jürgen Klopp arrived, I didn't think he could win the title with the spending power of Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea. But he's turned £30m players into £130m players. Other teams have turned £130m players into £30m players“

Pre-assists are just not a thing, stop embarrassing yourself.

Now you're just being pathetic mate. There's a reason why you were downvoted into oblivion for your stupid uneducated comment criticising Sigurdsson while hilariously admitting that you agreed with 80% of those incredibly overpriced players transfer fees.

Tell me what exactly did Iniesta & Xavi do for a living? They averaged 2-3 goals/assists a season & did not contribute defensively.

When Messi scored 91 goals in 2012 Iniesta only assisted him 3 times, while Xavi only assisted him once.

According to your own logic this would be a massive failure, seeing as they don't score goals, assist that frequently or defend. You have been utterly humiliated by me using your own logic against you, and now you will proceed to ignore my point like you've done with 90% of my comments so far. Opting to instead repeat yourself like a broken record player proving just how way out of your depth you are.

Statisically made the most defensive contributions from the midfield which see's more of the ball than any other position and has seen Davies, Gomes, Delph, Schneiderlin rotate through the majority of the season with Sig making the most appearences out of the 5 closely followed by Davies therefore giving him the best opportunity to have the best stats as he has played more games.

First of all you need to learn how to spell properly, second of all he's not just outperforming Everton's players, but pretty much the entire league.

Since GW12 he has 129 ball recoveries, tackles & interceptions combined in 16 matches with 1329 min total = 8.73 per 90 min

In comparison to the rest of the league & our players:

  • 14.07 - Ndidi
  • 12.18 - Sidibe
  • 11.74 - Kante
  • 10.79 - Gylfi (Only at CDM)
  • 10.34 - McTominay
  • 10.22 - AWB
  • 10.14 - Pereira
  • 9.57 - Sissoko
  • 8.73 - Gylfi (Since GW12)
  • 8.69 - TAA
  • 8.57 - Gundogan
  • 8.50 - Robertson
  • 8.20 - Holgate
  • 7.99 - Digne
  • 7.70 - Fernandinho
  • 7.05 - Keane
  • 6.79 - Gini
  • 6.76 - Van Dijk
  • 6.07 - Mina
  • 2.99 - Baines

Sigurdsson is literally performing only 0.95 per 90 worse than Kante when both are playing as a CDM.

We're literally playing the same formation as we did under big Dunc.

No we aren't, and Sigurdsson it was Silva who first introduced Sigurdsson to his current role, Ancelotti has kept him there.

Pre-assists are just not a thing. If they were goalkeepers would be some of the best playmakers in the game.

If Ederson releases Sterling down the wing who could easily score but instead sweats it to Aguero at the far post, does that mean Ederson doesn't deserve any credit for his pass?

Of course he does, and you're just a fickle uneducated kid trying to desperately grasp at straws at a feeble attempt of somehow trying to get out of this unscathed.

In reality you have been thoroughly humiliated & put in your place, that's why you've proceeded to avoid most of the points being made, cherry picking your arguments & ultimately repeating yourself simply out of fear of embarrassment when ironically you're embarrassing yourself by.... Repeating yourself.

We're a laughing stock because we've spunked money on the likes of Schneiderlin, Klaassen, Tosun. Players nowhere near first team quality.

Keane, Gomes, Walcott, I could go on.

Well that is just bullshit. Xavi made his name controlling the pace of the game from midfield and Iniesta made his name with his ability to take on the ball and glide through defenses dragging players to him and opening teams up. There ability to control the game is what made them superstar winners. Not 'pre-assists'.

"Not 'pre-assists'" Oh boy you're in for a ride, not only do you have no idea what you're talking about but you're so way out of your depth that it's scary to think about just how badly I can humiliate you in this situation.

Here, I'll put you to rest and piss on your grave while I'm at it;

https://twitter.com/oilysailor/status/579755877521055744

In 2015 Iniesta went 361 days without scoring or assisting a league goal, and when Henry was confronted with this stat he said:

"Iniesta is the guy that provides the pass before the assist and one who makes the team tick."

The MLS has gone so far to count pre-assists AS a regular assist. Which I find frankly stupid because they're in their own different categories & shouldn't be treated as equal.

Judging Xavi or Iniesta by merely goals & assists is ridiculous to me, the amount of passes they make that lead to the play happening to begin with are in the millions.

The fact that you're willing to slide past that with them but fail to acknowledge Sigurdsson's massive influence in our goals really does prove that you're just a bitter hypocrite with zero substance to backup anything you've said.

They don't.

I guess the sky is green & the earth is flat too in your little fantasy land too huh little fella? You sure convinced me! Sit your ass down and stfu.

You're trying really hard to justify a pre-assist but it honestly shows more of how stupid the idea truly is.

Yet you've done absolutely nothing to address the facts that I have provided, and continue to repeat yourself like a glitchy robot.

Shame on you coward.

Passing the ball a few yards in the hopes of it turning into a chance 16 times out of 31 games. Fuck me what a superstar. No wonder we never win anything with that kind of approach.

Sigurdsson's not passing it sideways & receiving an assist for doing absolutely nothing. He's making key decisions & creating goals from doing so.

Like I said earlier, facts don't give a fuck about your feelings mate. Cry about it all you want, nobody cares.

It really wasn't. All the pace had been taken out of the ball and it sat directly a head of him ready for his approach. He fucked it up by trying to place it with the inside of his boot instead of going through with his laces and ended up kicking it straight into the crowd. No player should be missing that kind of opportunity.

Mate even his haters admitted that wasn't a "big chance" or even an easy chance to get on target given the fact it was a tricky volley on a windy day. You've been wrong literally at every given opportunity throughout this conversation and YOU expect me to listen to you or give you the benefit of the doubt? Learn your place in life & educate yourself before humiliating yourself in public like this.

The fact that Sigurdsson is at worse fitness levels than Andre Gomes who spent the months out with a huge ankle injury speaks volumes about the man.

Gomes has been struggling immensely fitness wise, Sigurdsson has not. He's literally the only reason why we haven't been relegated so of course he needs to be preserved.

39 shots in the league this season. 13 on target. 1 Goal.

How many of these shots have been from actually realistic goal scoring situations?

4 of those shots on target are from free kicks, one of them was against De Gea when he was chopped in half by AWB, one of his shots on target was against Wolves when he disguised it as a cross but secretly tried to catch the GK off guard from the flank. He also had 3 good shots from distance against Man City.

That's 9 of his 13 shots on target just from the top off my head, and you're acting like he's had a million chances to score this season? If Sigurdsson had a half decent chance he will get it on target, the fact that he only had 4 aside from the 9 I've already counted just proves my point.

Err because that's his job...... He's meant to be the playmaker of the team.

And that's what he has been doing, creating goals by being heavily involved in our buildup play. Without him we would literally be in a relegation battle, do you understand that you bootlicker?

Show me some evidence between August 2018 to May 2019 of people hating on Sigurdsson. And I mean actually trashing on him. Not some half comment someone made because he missed a sitter or something. Some actual hate comments.

Go through every single match thread on reddit, go on twitter, go on toffeetv's youtube, you're literally one of his biggest haters & YOU of all people are saying this? Shame on YOU.

Because passing the ball 5 yards to Digne just for him to take the ball on and cross for someone to score doesn't make Sigurdsson the reason for that goal.

Is this literally all you can say? You are so repetitive because there is no substance to back up anything you've said. At this point you're deliberately time wasting as a hilarious attempt to somehow pretend like you're still in this one sided pounding of a debate where I've been swinging the hammer the whole time.
