Read the studies and no one with diagnosed ADHD, is protected from the long term effects of ADHD meds. If it does what Doctors say and has a counter reaction to ADHD users, Id imagine the side effects wouldn’t be the exact same as non ADHD users. I may not be a doctor but I am an ex-amphetamine user who know helps other recovering addicts to all stimulants. (Not all of which are illegal drug users).

I wouldn’t come to Reddit to bash peoples opinions, I am only trying to prevent the aftermath of this prescribed medications. I have seen too many people have absolute mental breakdowns as the result of abstinence. It is practically diagnosable schizophrenia. You would be surprised how little emotion this people feel after they have fried their dopamine receptors over years.

It is absolutely sad to see my efforts being crushed by people that have no experience around these drugs.

Please please please, research the long term effects of these meds before you put a child or yourself on it. Most people I deal with were forced on it by a parent and wish they never had taken it at all.
