Gay people in a straight marriage, how did that happen and how is it working out?

A friend of mine dated the same guy from when they were like 12 years old. They got married at 18. (Her parents had also gotten married at 18 and were a great couple - but they had also had a child, her, by then. Her mother had passed away when my friend was 10, and she missed her a lot, so some people thought that her insisting on getting married at the same age was a way for her to cling to her mom's memory.) Her husband is the nicest dude, but yeah. They were divorced by 21 because it turns out he is super gay. Once he decided to be honest with himself, he had to be honest with her. She was pretty broken up about it, but never blamed him. They're still absolutely best friends, and she has since gotten married again and her new husband has become really good friends with her ex husband. Considering the circumstances, that all could have gone a lot worse.
