You offered me a clear answer when you replied in the first place. The issue is, it was useless to me, so you can't blame me for asking you to elaborate. If you didn't want to, you could have just said that in the first place.

Again, it really wasn't a big deal. I didn't care about it. But even so, you don't get to decide what is or is not a big deal. If you said something fairly normal that everyone else says, and a bunch of people started calling you a jerk for it, I'm sure you'd be at least a bit bothered by it (if you aren't, good on you, I guess).

Honestly, your replies here are making me more frustrated than that was. I'm sorry if I came off aggressively, and I wanted to have a polite conversation, but I'm upset that you chose not to give me that courtesy. Don't call people 'butthurt' or telling them their feelings don't matter just because they're curious about something; I'm sure they'd appreciate it greatly.
