Why is Giannis considered the best player in the world while Jokic is favored for Third MVP?

Considering that didn’t happen in 2021 I don’t see the point, your requirements are too strict. But keep to your biases, I refuse to feel bad the Nets created a super team and got hurt, weird how when the Warriors did it in 2019 no one felt bad for them (nor should they). The nets took on the risk sacrificing depth for stars and it didn’t pay off. That’s life.

Not to mention the 2021 Nuggets were missing Jamal Murray, a player who hasn’t looked particularly great this year and has 0 all-star selections. He’s the guy switching a 4 game sweep into a Nuggets win? A guy who’s claim to fame is a single playoff run where he was just pretty good? And also I’m supposed to be surprised Kawhi and AD got hurt? The two most injury prone stats in the league? If I had to pick the top 3 most likely stars to miss significant playoff time in the whole league I would pick Kawhi, AD, and Kyrie, and I bet most other people would too. So surprising they all were hurt, who could have seen it coming?
