You’ll find away to make it work, then one day you’ll have a kid or get married and she’ll crank those controlling habits to 11. Odds are this situation will not improve, that requires her to change, which it sounds like she wants the exact opposite…for you to change.

You hiding links in your notes makes it sound like you know she doesnt want you watching that stuff. You have to decide if thats a compromise youre willing to make. If you lied, thats on you. Don’t make promises you cant keep.

I broke it off with my kids mom and found a girl that was the exact opposite of controlling, night and day difference. She had other issues, as we all do, but it was so nice being in an actual adult relationship. So much less stress.
