Giveaway for a copy of MM:LE

The main console I grew up with when I was younger was a N64 -- handed down to me from my older brother, I inherited a small stash of games. Among them was a copy of Majora's Mask, in all its golden, holographic glory. I'll admit that I really didn't get too far at first. I just barley managed to get through the first dungeon after a multitude of tries (you know, being young and all) before my copy was lost. Perhaps it founds its way to an alternate world, who knows?

A couple of years later I begged my mother to procure another copy of the game, remembering how much fun I had repeating the first portion of the game over and over and over again. Unfortunately, the used cartridge came with a crack down the side, so I had to mend it a bit with my tiny little fingers until it fit nicely into the N64 cartridge slot. Being a bit more experienced then, I got to the very end of the game with each and every mask (mind you, I had a bit of help with a few). I got so frustrated at the end on the moon when attempting the small Goron dungeon -- that darn controller could be such a pain to work with on the twists and turns. After a short break from that frustrating experience, and a bit of trial and error, I could finally say that I beat Majora's Mask.

My love for the game stems from not just from nostalgia but from memories of that horrifying moon and all of the dark themes spread throughout the game. I was in class the morning of the announcement of the Limited Edition and came home to it being completely sold out. Decimated, I held out hope for a special New 3DS console much like every other fan of the game. I was up early to watch the Nintendo Direct announcement, but again had to leave to make it in time for class. I got home early enough to see that Best Buy still had it available and managed to get a pre-order in... but I think we all know what happened to that.

I've probably made this sound amazingly sappy and wrote a bit too much, but honestly I'm not hesitant to say that Majora's Mask is one of, if not my favorite game I've ever had the chance to play. Thank you for being generous to the community; whoever gets this game is certainly in for a treat if they haven't played it already!

Just 'cause I can, I made these bead sprites sometime last year. And this is the broken cartidge I spent many moons playing. Perhaps I'll get a copy in better condition one of these days, but I'll never get rid of this one.
