The Golden State Warriors were more fun to watch last year.

JR Smith... outdoes Klay in most of the things you're mentioning

Career Stats

Player PTS REB AST FG% 3P% FT% eFG%
JR Smith 13.1 3.2 2.2 42.1 37.5 73.4 51.2
Klay 18.7 3.3 2.3 45.2 41.7 85.1 54.2

JR is literally worse on every major metric.

Also re: your other comment about sticking Klay on the Pels and he'd be garbage? That's just flat out incorrect. A lot of people have this misconception that Klay is just another Korver or JR, but he does a lot more than just sit in the corner and shoot threes. Just look at the games against HOU and POR in the playoffs last year when Steph went down. He scored 34, 17, 37, 27, and 35 and the Warriors went 4-2 (with a 1 point loss against HOU), and that's not even mentioning his great defense. He would have far better stats on a worse team a la James Harden or Westbrook.

Klay would absolutely not get into the HoF if he retired today (and neither would Steph), but this is a guy who's made the all-NBA team multiple times. He's far more than some generic skilled shooter.
