Oh - and I usually just do cards for whatever TTMIK book I am working through - unless there is a phrase I come across that I REALLLLLLLY like and want to remember and then I make a card for it.

But usually I just write it down in my notebook and start using it. :).

If I had more time - I’d probably make more cards - but there is a lot of info out there about not overdoing it because it makes the card review process too long and exhausting. I have read people usually do 10-20 new cards a day. But even some people just do it based on time slots they have available. Make as many cards as they for 30 min a day (or whatever) and that works for them.
