Do you know any other parishioners who would share your sentiments? You could respectfully ask the priest to bring more reverence back to the mass along with others at your church.

Some people will say to just attend a Latin mass, but this sort of thing will just accelerate divisions (which are already obvious) we need people to advocate for change in parishes which have become too protestantized.

I think it’s funny how Eucharistic ministers are called “extraordinary” and how Benedict coined the old Roman rite as the “extraordinary form”

If the Latin mass was as extraordinary as the prevalence of lay Eucharistic ministers then we’d have the Latin mass at every parish
