I don't go on that sub, but I assume there's two types of people who watch gore and comment fucked up heinous shit or whatever - one, true psychopaths without empathy. Those people can't be saved and would never want to be saved, society should be wary of them. The second, are people that are broken psychologically.

The second type don't deserve respect for what they do, but they deserve psychological and psychiatric evaluation and skilled people to get to the bottom of why they've given up on humanity, and to try and make them functionally normal and move on with their lives. It's not about respecting them nor is it a job for John Smith the office worker to concern himself with, it's just about recognising that it'll be better for everyone's sake if professionals try to fix that which can be fixed.
