A guide to Hinge as an online dating tool

Too many words. I'd say (this is my personal opinion, not based on data I'm aware of) just be yourself and get to the point. This sounds like dumb advice because it's so common. By this I mean don't present yourself in a way that you don't feel you are, because this won't pan out in the long run. When it comes to using the app, be aggressive in the sense that you should use it to get dates, don't see it as a distraction or boredom tool and don't pretend that you can get to know someone through texting. Just use it to get dates, expect most people to flake as this is the most common (statistically) outcome. Like people based on how they present themselves, but don't read too deeply into it. If they're attractive to you and nothing in their depiction of their self doesn't align to you then go for it.

Finally, it is a numbers game so do this for multiple people at a time. This will help when some of them inevitably ghost/delay because they're doing online dating things or whatever.

If you don't like someone, just tell them you don't see it working out. If you do like someone, pursue but if they don't show the same commitment abandon them. Don't take any of this personally or seriously. The stats on how many people use this for their ego would blow your mind.
