Hackett gets early look at UM Nike football uniforms - "The Jumpman logo is on the uniform"

I don't like the idea of having the Jumpman Logo as it stands on TTUN's uniforms. I saw a lot of people saying, "The skeptics needs to know that Jordan brand is on a lot of other sports like Tennis, NASCAR, Golf..." and to that I say, 'That is not my objection. Also You can pay to put nearly whatever you want on NASCAR so that's a bad example.'

I object to this because the Jumpman Logo is an Iconic Basketball image and as such it shouldn't be on a Football uniform in my opinion. Now the image is based of and owned by a man who has no ties to TTUN or the state and actually isn't that liked by people in the state which I agree makes the addition of this logo a very wonky thing do but that isn't really what breaks it for me. It's the Basketball portion of it. In the logo Jordan is literally palming a Basketball.

I just hope that tOSU never does something like this. And by this I mean putting one sports iconic image on another sports uniform. And maybe you could argue that the Jordan Jumpman has transcended it's Basketball background but it's still a silhouette of a basketball.

Now with that said will it have an impact on anything? No. Just like the Nike Logo, Adidas Logo, and Reebok Logo have no impact on anything other than aesthetics. I own a few tOSU jerseys and I can't tell if what the logo on them is other than I assume it's Nike because of Nike's Pro-Combat Uniforms (which I get excited to see and THAT is good marketing for Nike IMO but just slapping your logo on a uniform doesn't get me interested in your brand).

Will the addition of the Jumpman lead to NASCAR/Soccer style patches being thrown all over the uniforms? I highly doubt it, but again that isn't why I dislike this.
