First, figure out how much of your grade depends on the project. If you aren’t concerned that it will have a major impact then you might want to try something. One thing you could do is agree with the final conclusion, but insist on at least having a slide or section of the project addressing the controversy. Here, if you are careful with your language and research, you can undermine the conclusions of your group (reputable sources would be key). This will either force the teacher to point out that the controversy undermines your groups conclusion, or ignore it and give you an A for reaching the “correct” conclusions . If she decides to bring up the controversy, you might get the next big important recording from inside a class. That all depends on you being able to be covert with you intentions. If you make a scene about your group being wrong, or if your project isn’t good enough to get an A on it’s own, you won’t have a strong defense if your teacher does something crazy.
