Why do you hate that one coworker so much?

They all complain about their careers and blame everyone but themselves. This has happened every step of the way in my career, and I've been moving up fairly quickly. When I see Redditors bitching about the man holding them down I assume they're as useless and clueless as my co-workers have always been.

Job 1- Basic data entry. My numbers beat the other 3 combined the second day I worked there. Maybe learn how to use a computer instead of bitching about how unfair life is.

Job 2- More advanced data entry on a brand new platform. About 12 of us on the team. I taught myself to use the platform properly and crushed the numbers again. Then I built some really basic Macros to streamline the exception reporting. But again, I clearly only got promoted because the boss liked me the most.

Job 3- Full timer now! For 6 consecutive months reporting errors increased monthly. Obviously it was everyone else's fault. No one bothered to figure out the root cause of the errors, they just manually corrected them each month and blamed vendors, the client, whoever was out sick that day. This department had 20 fucking people and not a single one bothered to try and figure this out. Six months after I started 95% of the errors were gone. Gee, find the root cause, fix it. My manager didn't want to trim staff so he just kinda let me do what I want. I taught myself SQL, mastered Excel, and started offering my assistance to other departments. (Apparently you're supposed to Reddit with your free time if you can do your job in 20 hours.) Anyway, one of those departments I helped out wanted to hire me, so I went!

Job 4- Used SQL and knowledge of other departments to speed up the department's entire reason for existing. We had one chick literally complain that I could only do the job faster because I'm good with computers. Yeah no shit, I worked hard to become good with computers. Bitch.

I made a lot of friends there and every time I left a department people bitched about me getting promoted so fast. No fucking shit, I outperformed everyone in every department I was in by a wide margin. I don't dress nice, tuck in my shirt, or kiss ass, I just do my job better than you so quit your bitching.
