Health has improved (how has yours?)

I began e-biking to bridge a more than 40 year gap in cycling. I'm now a grandad to some wonderful kids and my children are grown. Heart disease runs in my family and I knew I needed regular cardio exercise. My health and energy improved until I was recently run off the road. Los Angeles is a dangerous city for cyclists and I cannot currently walk much less think about riding. This has led to some depression. Ironically, it was three pedal bicyclists that forced me off of a paved bike path that permits ebikes. My bike is now wrecked as is my knee, thumb, and other less severe scrapes and cuts. My rear camera recorded them riding off without even glancing back. I was unable to stand and dragged myself to the side of the road. Joggers simply hopped over me and other bicyclists rode around me but one cursed me for having part of my bike on the road. Despite bleeding from multiple areas, it would take another 90 minutes before a gentleman that appeared to be in his 70's stopped to render aid. He helped me collect the broken parts of my bike and straighten my handlebar. My brake handgrips are bent but I made it home.
