750km(465miles) in 24hrs - a new Guinness world record attempt to highlight the efficiency of E-bikes.

My 250W shimano-motored Raleigh ebike got around 15Wh/mi in “high” mode so typical cruising at 20mph so a tad slower but still. Iirc the average speed was about 15mph on a “high mode” ride of 10 miles(so including stop lights)

So that’s almost 60 miles per $.08. Hmm. On that 418Wh pack it’d take 2 charges though so every 60 miles takes around 8 hours with the stock charger of that bike. 4 hours if you have 2 packs and charge them both at the same time.

Fair enough! After doing math it’s still a very difficult challenge! Commuter ebike efficiency over 24hrs is hard!

I hope they’re not using a vehicle to swap packs. It should be whatever battery and chargers you can carry, imo.
