You're not defending him but you're defending him much in the same way he's not an expert presenting pseudoscience as fact but he's acting like an expert presenting pseudoscience as fact. He was a huge driver of misinformation during this pandemic and misinformation helped the spread of deadly disease. This is not old behavior, it is ongoing.

You really want it both ways. You want to say "It's a stupid post" but also that it's impossible to critique without context. His post says we are in the lower left hand corner, meaning we are ruled by weak leftist men who are the source of bad times and to blame for authoritarianism. Voting for Jo Jorgensen does not really change the fact that he is using his platform to promote fascist ideas. It is no surprise that the guy who rants about stuff he read online as if it is all trustworthy is a little politically inconsistent.
