I'm 42 and I've lost track of the number of bachelor parties I've been to. It's got to be at least 30 at this point between college friends, work friends, family, etc etc. None of them have ever actually hired a stripper, but a lot of them we've gone out bar hopping and end up at the strip club. Less than half, but definitely a good chunk of them. Some guys would try to get the groom to get a private lap dance, but most of them refused.

I'd argue it's completely different to go to a strip club as opposed to hiring a stripper to do it at wherever the party is, but it's still something that I don't really care for. My favorite bachelor parties were the ones were we acted like we were in college again and just got shit faced playing video games, having bonfires, and grilled out. I'd say the strangest was one were we built the guy a deck. As in, about 15 of us show up and built a wooden deck on the guys house, sat on it drinking beer the rest of the night, and finished staining it the next day.
