Hitting a wall with Aeropress brewing and flavor profiles

Aeropress is difficult to be consistent with, and I have not used mine since our burr grinder broke. We recently ordered a new one, and I look forward to try dialing in the perfect strong coffee brew with it to make pretend lattes. Recently, I have been watching James Hoffman's coffee videos, and he has a really good one with his unique way to use the device by inverting it and filling the water in upside down, letting it bloom that way before turning it around and pressing the brew out. I think the thing is about how to make cappacino/latte type drinks without an espresso machine. He is a great expert on all things coffee and fun to watch. I highly recommend watching subscribing to James Hoffman on YouTube. I can't retain all the information he puts out, but I definitely have learned enough to put the fun back into making coffee.
