Homeowner snags purse from package thief's car

We don't have many options, because we live in apartments, not detached houses. And I will never see the drivers, because I have a job.

Amazon tends to bring the packages all the way up the stairs and leave them at the apartment door. They'll even post a photo of the package at the door to the tracker. All other services just toss them outside or just inside the building door, where they are obvious and easy to steal. And we just have to trust that the package was ever delivered in the first place.

If I'm just going to go pick up my packages anyway, they should charge me less, since there's no reason to employ all of those drivers, or pay for all of those delivery trucks/fuel/etc.
